Lot of three metal badges w/bar pins on backs. 1930s. High quality 1-3/8" tall heavy brass "Cleveland News - Dick Tracy Detective" premium badge has tiny Whitehead & Hoag name on back. Tiny luster wear only noticeable upon close inspection. Exc. 1-7/8" embossed tin premium badge from Baltimore Sun newspapers. Text reads "Detective Dick Tracy Club Sun Papers." Scattered aging/wear. Fine overall. Rare. 2-3/8" pressed tin was Youngstown, OH. newspaper premium and has "Dick Tracy Detective - The Vindicator" text. Glossy and Exc. Rare. Great trio of early regional issues promoting one of the all-time greatest comic strips.
