Item Description
5.5x14x3.5" deep box contains 14.5" tall marionette w/"Unitrol" one-piece controller by Peter Puppet Playthings Inc. © Bob Smith. c. 1948-1950. Box is evenly aged and has been reinforced. Scattered moisture staining w/3.5" repaired tear to left side panel and surface paper remnants. Back side panel has streaks of missing surface paper. VG. Comes w/instruction sheet. Wood/fabric/composition marionette has movable jaw and is complete w/separate plastic eyeglasses. Composition head, hands and feet. Fabric has some trace aging, but marionette is o/w NM. Scarcer marionette in the series.
