Item Description
5.5x13x375" deep box contains 12" long marionette w/"Unitrol" one-piece controller by Peter Puppet Playthings Inc. © Bob Smith. c. 1948-1950. Box is evenly aged and lid has been reinforced w/two inner tape repairs along hinge. Fine for display. Wood/fabric/composition marionette has movable jaw that moves along w/eyes. Composition head w/felt feet and printed fabric body w/"Flub-A-Dub" name. Fabric has some lt. aging and composition has typical crazing, but marionette is o/w VF overall. Rarest marionette in this series.
