Item Description
Original slipcover over lidded box (w/gilt Brownie image/text) contains 9.5" tall Uncle Sam Brownie doll. Of the highest quality, this doll was issued as part of a limited edition of 250 in 2008 by R. John Wright Dolls Inc. as part of their "Palmer Cox Brownie Collection." Originally sold for $475, doll is stunning recreation of Cox's Brownie art, constructed of pressed and professionally painted felt face and detailed felt outfit and straw hat w/felt stars on band. Doll's vest features three tiny mother-of-pearl buttons and doll wears custom leatherette shoes. Original packing material and tissue paper are present. Comes w/envelope containing COA card w/low edition number "11," illustrated folder for this doll series w/information about Cox and registration card w/matching edition number (box also has small sticker w/edition number). All is NM. Stunning Brownie doll.
