Item Description
1.25" dia. cello button from small series depicting movie cowboys (including Roy Rogers, Charles Starrett, Bill Elliot and Gene Autry) issued by Freihoffer bakeries of Reading, PA in 1942. This example includes "Bill Boyd" facsimile signature and Boyd is seen in character as Hopalong Cassidy w/"For Democracy 100%" rim text. No backpaper. High gloss and NM. We have only seen a few examples of this button in our 52 years, and it has been years since we last offered one.
