Item Description
Original 24x36.75" first printing poster for Nov. 26, 1968 concert that took place at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY that featured Poppy Records recording artists including Dick Gregory, Townes Van Zandt, The Mandrake and Memorial. Concert took place Thanksgiving Eve, and as such features art by Milton Glaser, depicting turkey w/large poppy flower sprouting from its neck, an obvious reference to Poppy Records, an unconventional 1960s record label. Comes w/24x36" promotional poster for the label, which also features Glaser art, depicting poppy flower growing from cracked stone block. Both have been rolled. Concert poster is NM while promotional poster has some handling wear and is VF.
