Item Description
Very rare drug store wooden case display to promote sales of Kleenex measures 12.5x24.75x5.25" deep w/7-3/8x9-5/8" opening featuring original Plexiglas panel w/image of Little Lulu holding a box of "Kleenex Tissues" and tissue to nose of Alvin. Bottom right has "Marge" facsimile signature and ©1951 ICP Co. notation. Top strip has replaced Plexiglas panel and case has replaced wood back. Top strip is missing revolving text banner w/Kleenex promotional text but original mechanism still functions, rotating as designed. Display has been rewired, but inner mechanism/motor is original and working. Scattered case wear w/4x6" corner of Plexiglas (mostly by Alvin image) discolored. Fine/VF overall and still a great display piece for advertising and Little Lulu collectors alike. First we've offered in our 52 years.
