Item Description
Original 2.5x4.5x.75" deep hinged lid (now split) cardboard box w/illustrated paper label contains 1.25x1.25" chrome-plated watch w/original metal link band. Everbrite Watch Co., c. 1935. Box is complete w/instruction/guarantee paper and die-cut insert, which 1.25" tear. Box has some corner tip/edge wear and is VG overall but still nice for display. Dial features full figure image of baseball HOF member Dizzy Dean pitching w/facsimile signature. Small recessed second dial between legs. Watch retains full luster and clean dial. Running and Exc. The nicest example of the few we've offered in our 52 years. Rare watch w/an even rarer box. Comes w/vintage newspaper advertisement clipping noting original purchase price of $2.95.
