Item Description
9.5x12.5" folder w/foil "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" title on front contains stapled (and taped at upper left corner) "Pressbook" which includes ad mats as well as cast/crew listing, various photos and character biographies and promotional text. Kit also includes eight glossy 8x9-7/8" bw stills (three of which are duplicates) and single color still (w/original plain envelope), eight copies of film synopsis from Odeon-Morton Theatres w/showtimes, various stapled packets of typed interest pieces concerning various aspects of making the film (one quite extensive) and letter to theater managers about upcoming movie posters. Stills are numbered ESB-1, 7, 10, 16-18, 24 and ESB-101. These include great posed shots of the cast in costume, scenes from the movie as well as still w/director Irvin Kershner, producer Gary Kurtz, executive producer George Lucas and screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan. Exc. Folder shows moderate wear w/1" split at top left, pinch/edge creases and corner tip wear. VG/Fine. Pressbook is VF overall while typed sheets have scattered moisture staining along tops and are Fine overall. Great insight throughout.
