Item Description
Premium ring w/brass base has "RR" initials brand on one side and "Trigger" portrait on the other side. Top has brass plate w/pair of hinged red plastic segments, each holding a lens and these segments fold upward to form a magnifying glass. Once the segments are lifted, a small Roy Rogers portrait is seen stamped on the interior of the brass frame. Issued by Quaker in 1949. Tiny trace of luster wear but still glossy and Exc. Comes w/7.25" tall 1 lb. 4 oz. and 9-5/8" tall 3 lb. size cardboard canisters of Quick Mother's Oats that advertised this premium ring, w/image of ring, noting it was available for 15¢ and one Mother's Oats trademark from package. Smaller canister has been opened at top and emptied w/some surface paper wear as opened and scattered aging. Larger container is missing .75" from side of lid and is Fine while other is VF.
