Item Description
Pair of 1950s Roy Rogers knives and their accompanying tooled leather sheaths. 8" long sheath w/"Roy Rogers" name/portrait has metal snap at top, holding 7.25" long knife w/celluloid grips that have nice gold accent image of Roy on rearing Trigger w/their names. Knife has fixed 3.5" long blade while handle has two slots holding bottle opener and screwdriver. Sheath is complete w/compass attachment. Sheath shows some lt. scattered aging w/age spots to top strap. VF. Knife's celluloid grips have slightly yellowed w/age and backside of knife has 1/8" spot of tarnish as stored over the years. Knife is o/w VF/Exc. Scarcer than Roy Rogers pocket knife. 8.5" long painted rubber knife comes w/elaborate sheath w/"Roy Rogers" name/portrait and metal rivets accents. Of note, sheath has two small "RR" brand button accents. Exc. Knife has hardened w/age and has some paint wear to blade. VF. Both are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
