Item Description
Lo of four promotional items, all featuring Charlie Chaplin's famous Little Tramp persona. Issued 1915-1936. 3.75x5.25" leather patch cut out to resemble a hide has embossed image of clown at center, who holds circle w/printed photo image of Chaplin at center, w/his name and "Essanay" studio name. Chaplin produced 14 short comedies for Essanay in 1915 before moving on to other opportunities. Exc. 2-3/8" tall gold luster metal stickpin w/dimensional Chaplin portrait at top comes on original card. c. 1917. Card shows lt. wear but stickpin retains Mint luster. 7.5x9.75" die-cut stiff paper mask is possible English premium. Exc. 7/8" dia. cello button is promotional item issued for Chaplin's 1936 film "Modern Times," which featured the final appearance of his Little Tramp character on film. Glossy and Exc.
