Item Description
Large an impressive double-sided 21.5x39.25" die-cut display store display advertises Colgate products as well as Colgate-sponsored TV shows and game shows including - "The Big Pay-Off, Strike It Rich, The Millionaire, My Friend Flicka" and "The Bob Cummings Show" along w/images of stars. Display dates to 1955-1956 as "My Friend Flicka" only had one season. Bottom originally had five die-cut danglers, one per show, each advertising different Colgate product. Three remain, these include - Halo Shampoo w/Bess Myerson from "The Big Pay-Off," Colgate toothpaste w/Marvin Miller from "The Millionaire" and Veto/Veto Mist deodorant w/Anita Louise from "My Friend Flicka." Bottom margin shows scattered edge wear w/two tabs showing more moderate wear. Danglers show scattered edge/corner tip wear and some aging. Fine overall. Rare and first we've offered in our 52 years.
