Item Description
11.25x17.5" Archie Comics artboard features pen and ink original art by Holly Golightly for page 15 of "Cheryl Blossom" #278, published by Archie Comics Nov. 1999. "'Boo'tiful Halloween Fashions" pin-up page features Cheryl in three different Halloween costumes. Top left shows her as Elvira, leaning over jack-o-lantern pumpkins w/haunted house in bkg. Bottom left shows her in sexy devil costume w/cat wearing devil costume at her feet. Larger image at right shows her in skimpy witch costume, w/Halloween treat bag having handwritten "Cheryl's Witch Costume By: April Engelberg, Toronto, Ontario Canada" as costume was suggested/designed by reader. A lovesick ghost can be seen coming out of the treat bag and circling Cheryl. Holly Golightly has signed in black ink inside cartoon heart at lower left, which has a spider dangling from it and signed again at lower right ink pink paint pen. Page has printed title/issue number/month strip pasted at top left over inked "Cheryl #27" text. Additional inked production information at bottom. Back has Archie Comics copyright stamp. Pin holes at top corners and top center w/trace staining from tape at top center. Art is o/w bright, clean and Exc.
