Item Description
Original cardboard box w/"G-Man Gun"name contains 24" long tin litho sparking rifle w/wooden stock and "'G'Man Gun" name on side in front of simulated barrel clip. Image of two G-Men appear behind this. Barrel clip has repeated "GMan Gun" name and image of G-Man firing gun on side facing user. Forward tin litho grip has "G" shield design. Right side has built-in key behind forward grip. Marx, 1930s. Box has 2.5" end flap split along hinge and opposite end flap has glue repair. Box o/w shows just some scattered wear in the form of creases and corner tip wear. Aged strip of Christmas tape on one side and some faint spots of moisture staining. Still Fine overall and nice display example of this rare box. Gun has scattered paint nicks/scratches, most prevalent to ridged top of gun and gun barrel. Tip of barrel has some small denting. Working and sparks. Fine/VF. A wonderfully designed, a well-made rifle. From the collection of former FBI Agent Lin DeVecchio.
