Item Description
Original cardboard box w/toy name contains 23.5" long tin litho tommy gun w/wooden stock, revolving tin litho bullet chamber and built-in key. Marx, 1930s. Box shows obvious and heavy wear to one end, w/all end flaps missing along w/large portions of side panels, which have some large tears/splits. Box is just Fair and comes along. Box is rare. Body of gun has nice detailing w/illustration of boys holding these toy guns on left side w/"G Man Gun" text while other side has additional detailing w/"Sparkling Double Action" text. Toy works, producing loud firing sound, but no longer sparks due to missing flint, which can be easily replaced. When trigger is pulled, bullet cylinder revolves. Stock is slightly loose. Gun shows some scattered lt. wear to raised ridges along top of gun w/some scattered paint nicks/scratches. VF overall. From the collection of former FBI Agent Lin DeVecchio.
