Item Description
7.25" dia. by 1-3/8" deep nice quality china bowls each feature central scene w/characters from "Gasoline Alley" and "Smitty" comic strips (each w/respective strip artist's facsimile signature) surrounded by four portraits of characters from the strips. Undersides marked "Made In Czechoslovakia," 1930s. "Gasoline Alley" edge portrait features two duplicate portrait images while "Smitty" features four different characters. Gold luster rim accents are complete. NM. Both are rare and are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
