Original cardboard shipping tube w/worn "The Lone Ranger" mailing label contains General Mills premium that was issued in 1941 (prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor). 7" long plastic slide whistle w/wooden plunger was offered as bounce-back premium w/gardenia brooch and is complete w/string. Exc. Scarce mailer tube has expected wear from mailing and is aged. Fine overall. 5.5x8.5" illustrated "The Lone Ranger National Defenders Secret Portfolio" includes stories, puzzles, member certificate, available premiums, comic strip, etc. Curled as shipped and lightly aged but unused and VF overall. Comes w/rare 8.5x11" stiff paper promotional sheet for store display regarding the formation of Lone Ranger Victory Corps to involve boys and girls in the World War II Homefront war effort. ©1942 TLR Inc. Sheet is holed for placement in binder and has as made strengthening strip along edge which has staple holes and some aging/staining along it. .5" line puncture. Fine overall.
