Item Description
8.25x12x1.5" deep box contains set of four puzzles by Saalfield Publishing Co. ©1932 Celebrity Productions Inc. Box is marked "Created By Ub Iwerks." Lid art features overlapped design of the four different puzzle scenes. Puzzle titles are printed on inside of lid and include - "Flip Returns From The Market, Blowing Bubbles, Winter Sport" and "Yum! Yum! Want A Bite!" Box bottom original store price sticker and has one corner split and two .5" edge splits, w/tiny tape repairs. Lid has one corner split and a .5" split on bottom side edge. Penciled name on main lid panel and lid has scattered trace of dust soiling, mostly along edges. Lid still has bright and strong color and box is complete w/inner cardboard divider. Fine. Puzzles are complete (though puzzle w/watermelon has expertly crafted replacement piece) and shows just lt. wear from use. VF/Exc. Scarce set.
