Item Description
8.25x9-5/8x1.5" deep box w/illustrated lid (featuring Donald Duck and his nephews) contains four of five cracker party favors, very popular to this day in England at Christmas and other festive occasions. Made in England, 1940s. Box has some scattered minor aging and slight concave warp to lid w/corner tip wear at lower right. Box is Fine but still very nice fore display. Crackers are crepe paper-covered cardboard tubes, each different die-cut Donald image of embossed stiff paper. When ends to crackers are pulled apart, a popping noise is produced and a prize is revealed. All remain unused w/moderate wear to one end of red cracker and one yellow cracker. Additional Donald image from fifth cracker in set is included. Scattered aging and wear, Fine to VF overall. To find a box w/unused contents from this time period is rare.
