Item Description
5.75" tall 12 oz. size Post's "Grape=Nuts" cereal box has "The Explorer's Ring" offer, w/back panel showing image of ring, noting it was available for 25¢ and one box top. Side panel features cut-out of Fireball Twigg comic character, whose portrait also appears on back of box w/ring. 1948. Box has been opened and emptied, w/top glued shut. Box shows even lt. aging and scattered wear. Fine. Comes w/ring w/silvered brass bands and holds a plastic sundial and compass needle under clear plastic dome. NM. Comes w/4x4" instruction folder w/detailed information on the ring's uses and includes "Sunset Table/Star Chart." Scattered wear/aging as folded. Fine. Rarely seen complete.
