Item Description
See previous lot for information of this important horror/mystery radio program. Offered here is 2.75x3.5" card that opens to 7" w/facsimile handwritten note on "Inner Sanctum" letterhead on front referring to Chinese inscription on pendant. This is signed by Lipton Tea's Tea Lady" spokeswoman Mary Bennett. Inside of card has Lipton promotional text w/coupon for additional pendants that were available for 25¢ plus the top of a Lipton package. Back of card has a pair of die-cut notches as made where the pendant's ribbon was wrapped around as mailed. Card has slightly tanned but is clean and Exc. The pendant is 1" dia. marked "Sterling" on back w/raised Chinese inscription on front. Pendant has scattered aged patina w/front luster being 95% complete while back is about 90% complete. Fine/VF. Very rare and the first we've offered in our 52 years. Both are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA. Comes w/3-3/8x6" ink blotter w/creaky door and bat imagery w/large "Inner Sanctum" name and listing Lipton Tea and Lipton's Soups sponsors. Unused but w/vertical creases at center. Some corner tip wear but still displays VF overall.
