Item Description
12.25x26" paper sign for mystery/thriller radio show sponsored by Forhan's Toothpaste. This short-lived radio program ran from Jan. 21, 1935 to July 19, 1935 and was loosely based on Herbert Osborne Yardley's book "The American Black Chamber," which detailed the work of M18, utilized by the US during World War I for their code-breaking techniques against Germany. Sign dates to 1935 and advertises broadcast on WEAF, New York. Sign features great graphics, including airplanes and airship w/chemist in laboratory at left and men watching building at right. Folded twice horizontally as issued w/some lt. scattered wear/dust soiling. Fine/VF. Rare and the only example we've seen in our 52 years.
