Item Description
See previous item #1343. 3/16" thick piece of lead, measuring 1.5x2-3/8". It came from the Robbins factory and was produced by striking the die on a lead sheet so the design could be seen as flawless before production began on the Ralston premium "Wrangler" badge offered in 1938. The back of the piece has a hand scratched production number "M5586." The front of the piece has raised image in lead of the badge. One-of-a-kind. Comes w/2" tall production example of the badge. This is the profile version of the badge from 1938 and there is a second version that pictures him straight-on from the front. NM and as nice as these come. Both are the actual examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
