Item Description
27x39" on thin paper. Original printing w/silver and black utilizing the classic early promo image of the British hard rock band. Advertising a concert at the Stockholm Concert Hall (Konserthuset). Originating from a cancelled 1969 concert the unused posters were repurposed by over printing the Feb. 26, 1970 makeup date at top. Restoration along edges and moderate handling wear. Fine. Given the thin, fragile nature of the paper it's a remarkable survivor and will frame beautifully. Henrik Salender of the Swedish Press wrote in his review of the show "The Audience Thumped The Stage And The Rows Of Disco Dressed Girls Looked Like The Devil Had Got Hold Of Them." A bold design and size befitting the enormous importance of the band's legacy.
