Item Description
2-5/8" tall celluloid wrapped silvered brass match safe with hinged lid on top and striker on bottom. c. 1915. Cream celluloid is lightly tanned on front with faint darker stained area around word "Powder". Reverse tanning a bit deeper tone than the front. Still Fine and with full gloss. One side edge reads "Hercules Powder Co./Chicago" and other edge names maker J. B. Carroll. Rare.
