12x19" on thin stock w/blank back. c. 1864. Text "Published By The National Union Executive Committee" at bottom center. Map at top illustrates loss of Confederate territory. Text attacks "Peace Democracy" and "Copperhead Democracy" arguing that events prior to Lincoln's inauguration were the catalyst for war and that the election of McClellan will be the "Accession To Power Of Those Who Will Again Bind The Giant North In Chains, And Sell Their Birthright Of Freedom For Pieces Of Silver." One vertical and three horizontal folds, tiny hole at junction of center folds, moderate damp staining and edge losses. VG. Rare.
