Additional headline text at top reads "Plain Words For Working-Men" and addresses the high prices of goods and rising taxes concluding "Our Only Hope Of Better Days Is In Putting Down The Rebellion, And So Gaining A Union Peace. Reënforce Grant And Sherman-Reëlect Abraham Lincoln-And Soon The Rebellion Will Go Down, And Gold Will Go Down, And Prices Will Go Down, And Peace And Plenty Will Come Again To The Home Of The Working-Man." Hinged to backing board in three spots along top edge. Faint damp stain affecting right third. Otherwise only three very well flattened horizontal folds and a less than 1" tape stain at top center. Displays Fine. Professionally matted and ready to frame.
