Item Description
3.5" with Chicago union bugs on curl and an unusual white metal back with bar pin. Text reads "The Eddie Cantor Comedy Theatre/We Want Cantor On TV." Only our second seen example of this promotional button for short-lived early TV comedy hour starring very popular radio star, singer and actor. 'Banjo Eyes' was also responsible for sponsoring careers of many other entertainers of the day such as Eddie Fisher. A tiny dot of paper is trapped under the cello over the "Y" of "Comedy" but button is very close to Mint as made.
