14.5x16.5x2" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains complete parts for Gardner Games, ©1956 Keeshan-Miller Enterprises Corp. Box lid has one corner split and shows scattered edge/corner tip wear. Two strips of packing company tape at left/right sides. Fine. Complete w/die-cut cardboard insert that holds the 10 die-cut cardboard "Duck Pins," each featuring one of five different Captain Kangaroo designs. Well at left contains wooden stands for pins factory-sealed in bags and stapled to insert as well as original "Self Returning Throw Ball," a rubber ball w/attached rubberband. This remains sealed in original cellophane bag, though ball has hardened and become misshapen w/age. VG while other contents are unused and NM, old store stock. Scarce game in general, but rare in this unused condition.
