Item Description
Lot of three license plate attachments produced during the 1940s. All have some form of "Keep 'Em Flying" text. First is 3.25x9-7/8" painted heavy tin shows pilot and is stamped "Erickson - Des Moines, IA." Some lt. scattered wear but VF/Exc. Second is 5.5x7.5" heavy tin w/"V' for Victory and American flag design w/reflective red paint. Exc. 5-3/8" dia, painted heavy tin features "Keep 'Em Flying! On To Victory" text surrounding image of warplane. Back has "Smitties" Indianapolis imprint. Moderate aging and two streaks of wear to painted finish. Fine overall.
