10.25x14.25" metal frame w/double-mat containing two 3x4" openings, one on right showcasing Fleer/Skybox "Superman Holo Series" holographic foil trading card that were touted as "The First Three-Dimensional Model Hologram Trading Card Set Ever!" The set featured 50 holograms as well as "HoloMotion" and "HoloCel" insert cards. ©1996 DC Comics. Opening at left features printed stat card bkg. showing Brainiac's ship and has custom made and painted three-dimensional model of Superman fighting the ship's tentacles. This model was used to create hologram card #34 (w/Superman's heat vision and logo added to final card). NM. Framed display was awarded as a "Special Hobby Promotion" prize to Kings Sports Cards and was one of 10 winners to receive such a prize. Comes w/Fleer/Skybox folder which contains letter of congratulations, uncut sheet of cards from this series and promotional production card. Folder has applied production sample from then upcoming Batman series w/handwritten "Don't Forget To Order Your Batman Holo Cards!" note. Exc. Very limited and impressive display.
