Item Description
6.5" dia. by 1.75" deep lidded tin container has w/full color label covering the lid and contains "Supermen Of America Ring Collection," an authorized DC Comics 1995 re-issue limited to 2,000 examples made by Great American Ring Club. Sterling silver ring w/low "53" edition number. High quality ring is a reproduction of the rare ring issued as a contest prize to "Supermen Of America Club Members." Center has raised image of Superman while each side features "S" logo. Complete w/illustrated insert w/reproductions of the 1.25" dia. club button, "Superman's Secret Code" folder and miniature membership certificate and letter. Lid label shows some lt. scattered wear, but Exc. overall. Contents have some lt. scattered wear. NM to Mint. Issued COA has inked production number. Comes w/pair of matching nice quality adult size metal rings, each in identical hinged ring box. ©1995 DC Comics and created exclusively for "FX 95," a Florida-based collectors show by the Great American Ring Club Inc. Each ring box has cardboard insert w/FX logo, Superman name/image and notes rings were given to show exhibitors. Each has individual inked edition number; brass is 48/200, silver is 178/200. Each has same design w/Superman symbol on top and sides w/relief "FX" on one side and "95" on other. NM.
