Item Description
One of many versions, this is "Exhibition Set" No. 1-1/2 (as noted on lid). 10x18x1.25" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid featuring graphics of child magician pointing to several magic tricks. Front of tablecloth has image of winged devil w/"Mysto" name. A.C. Gilbert, 1938. Box comes w/original brown paper outer sleeve (which has stamp noting contents) and shows very little wear, contained to corner tips and box is o/w bright, glossy and Exc. Set appears complete and comes w/"Gilbert Mysto Magic" manual and die-cut insert containing various magic tricks.Also comes w/Gilbert flyer and inspection slip. All appears unused and NM, old store stock. Nicely designed set.
