Item Description
13.5x20.5x2.5" deep cardboard box contains 1953 A.C. Gilbert "Exhibition Set" No. 5 (as noted on lid). Illustrated lid features graphics of child magician w/wand pointing to scene of devils w/magic cauldron. Lid shows obvious wear w/one lid corner split and two corner splits to box bottom (one w/glue repair). Lid also shows moderate corner tip/wear w/some scattered staining/fading. VG overall. Contents appear complete and unused, w/three manuals - "Gilbert Knots And Splices, Gilbert Mysto Magic Book Of Instructions" and "Handkerchief Tricks" - as well as a number magic playing cards on underside of lid. Some scattered wear to manuals, but o/w contents of set are VF to Exc. Nicely designed set.
