Item Description
1-7/16" wide, likely silvered brass, fully three dimensional replica of the famous Model 1907 Savage semi-automatic pistol. Each pistol grip has small logo of profile Indian in a war bonnet. One side of barrel is inscribed "Savage". This gun was popular due to its small size and 10-round magazine. Advertising included such celebrity endorsers as Buffalo Bill Cody (see #1434 and #1435) , Bat Masterson and the Pinkerton Agency. Savage Arms also gifted the pistol to Theodore Roosevelt. Normal tarnish and comes with what seems to be its original lightly worn leather strap. First we've seen. VF.
