Item Description
Original mailer envelope w/photo illustrated mailing label (featuring Weissmuller as Tarzan) w/"Johnny Weissmuller Jungle Kids Play-Swim Suit" return address has typed recipient name/address and contains XL 27-30 size loincloth, which is made of faux leather and has nylon inner liner for use as a swimsuit. Shoelace attached faux leather knife holster at hip, which holds 9.25" long painted rubber knife (which has both hilt ends broken off to fit in holster). Jungle Kids Int., Ltd. 1978. Envelope shows wear as opened, w/rough opening along left. VG. Play/swimsuit has tag bearing Weissmuller's facsimile signature and image sewn into waistband and there is a minor scuff to front, o/w never used and Exc. Comes w/8.5x11" promotional sheet w/four Weissmuller Tarzan images and brief biography. Shows wear as mailer and has some staining from where knife hilt rested. Fine overall. Also comes w/order postcard for additional play/swimsuits. Very unusual Tarzan item.
