Original glossy 7.75x10-1/8" movie still w/linen backing promotes 1943 anti-Nazi propaganda animated Disney short released Jan. 1, 1943 by RKO. Cartoon features Donald Duck in a nightmare setting working at a factory in Nazi Germany and was made in an effort to sell war bonds and is an example of American propaganda during World War II. Scene shows Donald carrying large drum w/Nazi swastika on it (and a German soldier laying atop it) and Nazi band marches and plays. In addition to the swastikas on the Nazi uniforms, swastikas appear in bkg. as fence as well as in sky as clouds and on top of telephone pole. Also of particular note is the shack the band marches from, which features anthropomorphic Hitler design. Lower left corner has 1.5" crease but o/w still is VF. Still from this short are desirable, this being a particularly graphic example.
