Item Description
6.25x9" cardstock Christmas card features Donald Duck dressed as Santa Claus giving Victory symbol next to a sack full of war-themed toys such as a rifle, tank, battleship and airplane. 1940s. Bottom margin reads "Proceeds To The American Woman's Voluntary Services." Unused and comes w/envelope. Exc. Scarce. 5x7.25" 48-page "What Is Propaganda Education Manual" featuring Donald. ©1944 The American Historical Assn. From "GI Round Table Series" of booklets, this is manual "EM-2" devoted to defining propaganda. Donald appears on cover and introduction page and inside back cover. Contents are bw and along w/detailed text are numerous war-related illustrations. Images include Nazis, Hitler and Mussolini. Manual has some handling wear w/pinch creases and margin aging. Fine overall. Scarce. 3x3.5" felt patch w/embroidered design of Donald and his nephews in uniform, nephews holding "PMA" Pacific Military Academy flags and all stand on open book. 1940s w/Disney copyright. Even lt. aging. VF.
