Item Description
1.25" , no maker and very likely from Birmingham, Alabama, designed like a button but reverse is concave metal with inserted strip of spring steel to make clicking sound; however, rendered non-functioning because steel side edge has .25" hairline crack in the metal. Front features big Santa image with holly rim and many tiny stars on green background. Santa's beard carries the text "Chirp For J. Blach & Co. Boy's Dep't.". Barely seen age trace along very bottom edge. Full gloss. VF and rare, first seen c. 1920s.
