Item Description
9.5" tall. Front transfer features a portrait of "John Adams President Of The United States Of America" flanked by Goddesses of Agriculture and Justice w/a cherub steadying a liberty cap above. Reverse has polychrome transfer of a three-masted sailing ship w/bold American flag and streamer. Two transfers under-spout; an ornate "P" and early American seal. A hairline crack affecting the right side of the spout and a shallow .5" chip affecting spout. VF. A standout w/two under-spout cartouches and floral decoration around the top rim. Rarely offered and perhaps the most pleasing transfer featuring the second President. Mike Nichols Collection.
