Item Description
11.25x15" envelope contains complete and unused punch-out premium set issued in 1952. Envelope shows all parts on front (and assembly instructions on back) and has been opened and shows scattered wear/aging. Fine overall. Items include - Space Ranger Helmet, Chronoscopic Space Compass, Interplanetary Space Phones, Space Ranger Badge, Membership Card, Commission Pendants, Strato-Power Spaceship, stand-up figures of Buck-Wilma-Martians and Space Rangers, Martian nodding head Dynagator Target, Super-Sonic Rocket Launcher with Atomic Space Rocket, Martian mask, Disintegrator with Flying Saucers. Contents are unused and NM/Mint. Nicely designed and elaborate premium. Comes w/12x16" four page folder issued by Sylvania TV w/"Merchandising Suggestions" for the premium, showing the large Sylvania store display, advertising in magazines, ad mats, handbills and store window display contest. Scattered wear along spine w/some aging/dust soiling. Fine overall. Large 25x36" folded sheet features various newspaper sample ads. Some lt. scattered aging and pinch creasing along fold lines, but VF overall. Double-sided 8x10.75" store flyer has ad for premium on one side (showing all the various parts; including image of Buck Rogers wearing the Space Ranger helmet) w/Sylvania ads on the back. Evenly aged w/some scattered edge wear at lower left. Still a Fine example of this fragile piece. Last item is great 7x9" publicity photo. Glossy photo shows boy and girl using the assembled premium kit, each wearing Space Ranger Helmet, boy holding Disintegrator pistol aimed at stand-up figures and Dynagators. Premium envelope is seen laying on table. Staple holes at top corners and some lt. handling wear. Fine/VF. Exceptional lot for this classic Buck Rogers premium. Some items are from the Gold Archives while others are examples shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
