Item Description
5.5" long. Silvered brass hanger of eagle perched atop crossed American flags w/rwb ribbon suspending a highly domed 1.75" metal rimmed cello medallion. Jugate images set against a bike spoke background w/patriotic star border and reverse reading "The Pettibone Brothers Mfg. Co. Cincinnati, O." Faint moisture mark along bottom edge of design otherwise only moderate wear. VF. An impressive and rare 1896 badge that is the first we can recall encountering in our 52 years.
