Item Description
Lot of four Mary Marvel items produced 1945-1946. 2.25" die-cut fiberboard is 1/8" thick w/image on the front of Mary flying through the air. Reverse complete w/bar pin. 1946. Trace edge wear but o/w exceptionally clean and Exc. Scarce. Pair of 3.5x4.75" stitched canvas bags w/same silk-screened image of Mary (that closely resembles images seen on pin) and "Mary Marvel Toss Bag" text. 1945. Bags are filled w/metal bells which jingle when thrown. Some scattered dust soiling/staining and general wear. Fine overall. Single-sided 8.5x11" promotional sheet issued for members of the Captain Marvel Club in 1945 features both premium and store items, including Toss Bags for Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel Jr., Hoppy the Marvel Bunny and two different Mary Marvel bags (including design in this lot); Captain Marvel Suspenders and Fawcett "Comic Heroes Tattoo Transfers." Sheet is evenly aged but o/w Exc.
