Original box contains toy by Unique Art Manufacturing Co. Inc. ©1946 United Features Syndicate Inc. Box is complete and has even moderate aging. One inner flap is loose but included. Top flap has some moisture staining and scattered surface paper lifts. Still a Fine example for display. Comes w/aged and worn instruction sheet, which has .5" and 1.75" tears. VG. Tin litho toy w/built-in key has overall size of 5x9x8" tall. Toy consists of piano unit and four separate figures that attach to it. Piano is nicely illustrated on all sides including "Ole Man Mose" depicted on back. One side has poster for "Sadie Hawkins Day" and the front features sheet music for "Turnip Time By Li'l Abner." Figures are of Abner, Daisy Mae seated in front of the piano, Pappy Yokum as drummer and Mammy Yokum who sits on piano top holding baton. Works and all figures move when wound including Abner who dances. Toy shows little wear and is VF/Exc. overall. Very nice example of this classic toy.
