Item Description
3.5" w/metal back and horizontal bar pin. One of the famed Bastian Bros. sample buttons produced as in house test as they ventured into colorizing their line of products hand trimming the JFK portrait from a 1960 campaign brochure. Tiny cut in cello at 11 o'clock that likely occurred in manufacturing. Exc. These were rather hastily made and this a choice specimen. The image of Kennedy was hand trimmed and set against background by a designer in the legendary button producer's workshop.
