Item Description
From same promotion as previous item #843. 3-3/8x4.5x1.5" cardboard mailer box w/inked recipient name/address label (and altered premium notice return address) contains 3" wide rubber stamp w/wooden grip. This premium was shown in the 1941 Secret Guard handbook and comes w/typed slip from the Quaker Oats Company noting premium that was ordered was out of supply and stamp was being sent as a replacement. The stamp was available for two box guarantee seals and 10¢ or five guarantee seals. Box shows some wear from mailing w/1" tear to end flap but is complete and Fine overall. Letter has faint stamp on back and shows some handling wear. Fine. Stamp bears "SG" initials as well as line for name and "Member - The Secret Guard" text. Stamp shows little to no wear and is Exc. Very rare, this is the only known example and the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
