Item Description
Lot of seven items all issued by Quaker in 1941 for the short lived Annie & Capt. Sparks club. The basic kit is complete w/mailing env. (missing flap, VG), 8.5x11" "Official Handbook" (wear along fold lines/certificate signed) VG/Fine, "Slideomatic Radio Decoder" (Exc.), "Mysto-Snapper Badge" which is a tin clicker (lt. wear but works/Fine) and letter to parents (Exc.). The foldout handbook is very detailed and shows 18 different premiums. This lot also includes 2.25" tall plastic "SG Captain" glow-in-dark eagle badge which was offered separately to higher ranking members. Glows slightly and is Exc. This comes w/4.25x7" folder manual that describes the badge and has "Captain's Commission", clipped and filled out in ink, as intended. Fine. Extensive lot for this club.
