Item Description
7/8x3.75x6.75" box contains 1950 model watch by New Haven Clock And Watch Co. New Haven first issued their Orphan Annie watch in 1935 w/a rectangular case (see previous item). This is the final version, featuring 7/8" dia. round dial in 1x1.5" chrome luster case. Box shows lt. edge/corner tip wear w/trace aging. Box is complete w/die-cut insert w/matching image as seen on lid. Insert shows some lt. wear. Box is Fine/VF overall. Watch comes w/original leather bands and winding stem has attached New Haven foil tag noting price of "$5.95 Plus Fed. Tax." Bands shows no wear. Dial has all-over pinpoint spotting - a defect common to this watch. Case retains full bright luster and watch is Fine overall. Running. Old store stock.
