Item Description
2.25x4.5x1-1/8" green variety box (came in green or cream bkg.) w/hinged lid contains the first Little Orphan Annie watch issued by New Haven Clock And Watch Co., the 1935 model. Complete w/flocked insert. Box has even moderate aging to lid and shows scattered aging and corner tip wear w/one lid corner having split. Box's hinged lid remains intact. VG/Fine. Comes w/instructions and inspection slips. 1x1.5" rectangular silver luster metal case watch. Dial features full body image of Annie, who points at 3 and 11 o'clock. Leather bands show wear as stored but o/w appear unused. Case retains full luster. Crystal has yellowed slightly w/age. Dial has some minor scattered pinpoint spotting - a defect common to this watch. Watch winds but requires a simple cleaning to run. Fine/VF.
